What I Am

Twirling the talk of the town,
Was the day I wore a red mini gown.

Their tongues tripped to though
“She’s no longer pure like the Virgin Mary we know”

To tame the tongue, is not to tell the truth,
That lies inside the girl who walks in her youth

To them that think too tough
I have tendered care like mothers enough

The tale they tell shall tell
All which is true and well
