All I ever wanted

All I’ve wanted is on the page,
two ostrich eggs with my sausage.
Its not for people of this age.
I do not belong to your cage
I still belong to the old stage.
Some people say that I’m a sage
when I do away with that rage.
Have the words so I can engage.
Pay me in full since its my wage
Don’t just be nice when I’m offstage.
for my lies will be the assuage
and tears will just fill all the gauge.
So here’s me without a rampage,
A young black boy, a fair teenage
all he wanted lives downstage.
