Losses

There’s a blow that hits the hardest,
It numbs you till you disappear.
Friends will turn into strangers,
With an offering only lips serve.
Voids widen into a tempest,

Puffy eyes, and constant nerve swerve.
Along comes doubt and its dangers,
Grief lines don’t take long to appear.
Death and love dig holes the largest,

Pain addiction runs the deepest,
It is nothing beyond repair.
Events soon beep into pagers,
With a blow that hits the hardest.
Wins turn loses, a whole new curve.
