Why Do People Die?

Why do we live to die?
I have watched time chew our existence
And I have seen ocean of tears
Of a mother , a brother
A sister who is like the sun.
I have read of loud silence
And the madness that come with a final breath.
So why do we choose goodbyes instead of hi’s
And shut our eyes and hearts?
Why don’t we live for forever?
