Friday Night Lights

I’m totally trapped tonight
without a bout of frenzy.
The clubs, the bars and subways
are not the things i envy.

I await the weekend’s end
As Saturday walks away
in shaky brisk stilettos
with the problems of today.

When another Friday comes
We will repeat the cycle.
No lights. No bars. No subways.
