What you’ve lost may not be needing finding.
Leave out the stars,
Erase the scars.
Nothing’s blinding
As you have claimed.
Take care to lie,
Do care to try.
You’ve only blamed
Without minding
From whence all these nightmares appear and why.

But we all do wake up wondering why
We’re still minding.
That’s how we’re blamed:
Daring to try,
Telling a lie
For what we’ve claimed.
It’s all blinding;
The face of scars
The scent of stars-
Seeking for what won’t be needing finding.
