Resolutions that didn’t follow me

(i)
This year was to make peace with Dad.
But it seems things got worse from bad.

(ii)
Pressure coming from all sides.
Thrice thoughts came to slit my wrists,
Once I tried, but fear exists.

(iii)
Resolutions like algorithm
Are guides and rules to solve our issues.
Most times we don’t dance to the rhythm.
So they melt like water touched tissues.

(iv)
To walk out of home is something too sad,
But it will be best for me to live glad.
Not caring at all what they think of me.
“Letting Love Lead” at the top of my lists.
With no thoughts of poison or slashing wrists.
