Resolutions that didn’t follow me

Herding north, thoughts that filled my head
So i picked stick, and up i lead.

Greener pasture on my mind
Only this sheep won’t follow
Set aside, pride i swallow.

Plans i made planned to not work for me
A leader setting wrong example
Alas! Only a key can set free
This life na the real deal, no sample.

It was all play til pride fell on my bed
And while i slumbered, all my dreams fled
Dream in a dream, i thought i was living
Push me pass this wall where war is ample
Lead! Leave me, i won’t die in this battle
