This Is Where It Ends

I don’t know about you
But I am a believer.
Sharks and water beasts, rain and thunder clips
But I still survived the river.

Courage is so frightening
Coward is no good name either
Dry river flowing brown leaves
Drowning sands hoping for rescue.

These demons will embrace
Night after night of bitter taste
Crawling around the whole race
Turning every land to waste.

Fliers mocking crawlers
Crawlers mocking walkers
Walkers mocking others.
Priorities and its misplacement.

Kneel if you have to
Feign every emotion
Sacrifice if they need that too
Let the dry land become an ocean

Empty faces with obsolete stories
Carrying tears, regret and past glories.
Angels, demons, people with visions
Taking decisions with pure bad intentions

Leave the moon out of this one
Let the stars know no kingdom come
Tear down every altar you’ve raised
Survive before you dare to pray.

The moon might decide to rain
While the stars decide to storm
The sun go down, and decide to stay
Never to come up, I really don’t care

That pretty lame girl is a co-runner,
The dark blind bat is a witness too,
Those deaf frogs told me all they heard:
On how better everyone is than what others assume.

Gather your bags and be on your way
Say goodbye to family whatever friends say
Fetch some sand if you must remember
Head for earth and remain at the center.
