Swing Low (Sweet Chariot)

Why don’t you take me home.
Oh dear chariot made of fire
Please come.

I have waited so long for you.
Your four wheels that are made of gold
Not stone

Carry me like you did Eli
To realms far beyond what the eyes
Can see.

While the whole world watch me afloat
I’ll throw down my garment for them
To hold

I pray you don’t swing low enough
So I’ll have enough time to say
Goodbye.

Sharing kisses and hugs and tears
With loved ones I doubt I ever
Would miss.
