This cannot happen with paper
except the kiss of fire burning
to dust

Love that is a tribal language
tongues twisting to pronounce a name
unknown

Bread that is bought from the baker
leaf that leaves the branch of a tree
orphaned

Messages, some we would remember
even after the text from death
forgets

The excuses we make to let go
can be as easy as pressing
delete.

Leonell.
