Wonders Remain

We wait until life unfolds it’s shy face,
then sit in ashes and talk of time lost.
We forget the day, the sun, a child’s pace,
we are blind to wonders, some smiles do cost.
Sometimes, let thoughts be coffee through the night
So you sit and watch the morning unfold.
Be fair to sadness, bleach pain with a light,
Smile and watch the sun, how it blankets cold.
In the Earth’s doing, don’t come in and fade,
make sweet hymns in sex or when eating food.
Make sure you hear stories under the shade,
Make sure you read, teach others to grow good.
Be not Richard Curry, warm your heart’s eyes,
Tears are good to become fire and ice
