That you must bargain with your conscience now
To choose between your father and his wife,
The children shall grow up to not know how
Why babies and born and brought to this life.
The farms will forget to grow green these seeds,
The plague will come upon mankind like rain.
This is what we attract for our good deeds;
Mankind will be pleased to suffer again.
This is the curse in the blessings we’ve asked,
Nothing of seasons or the tides that came.
The wrong turns their fathers made in the past
Has now returned in the guise of a name.
Pray if you’d worry, worry not to pray.
There’s a way out of this, no other way.
