Just Another Friday!
The beginning of a weekend with a weak end,
A holiday marked by debauchery.
Most start with two legs and end on their backs.
Some find time to rest, while some put their strength to the test!
Whether in twos or in a crowd, a lot of rooms will crack your heart.
Another day to curb your enthusiasm,
Though some go to the tavern to find their god.
A day you can’t account for most of friends
Or the tales of lies your name might face.
The selfies will leave you wondering when it went down.
So many conscience will be slain tonight,
Though I cannot tell about tomorrow morning
When their world might just wake in Mourning.
Friday! Even the broke will find change to spare,
I doubt some parties will willingly give.
Friday has become a shameless routine.
For the poets, it’s time to pour out their soul
Maybe manage a few lines before languishing in melancholy.
It does not matter what it stands for
We all look forward to it, just because it’s another Friday.
