The jokers will do the most
We don’t need umbrellas in drought
With plenty mistakes to blot out
And brooms that cannot sweep the ghost

Our choices have found grounds to roast
Lend out your ears and they’ll toast
Convincing with reasonable doubt
Clumsy new resolution

They beat their chest while our votes boast
Selling our birthright at a cost
The seeds they’ve sown are yet to sprout
