Picture Prompt Poetry II

Images age, and dust too subliminal,
Preys. On the face of oil, beauty is fleeting.
Disguise in portrait makes anger minimal.

Something that some prescribe to be deceiving,
Cruelly revealing enough not to persuade
The look in an eye that is unbelieving.

The wrinkles appear soon as they dare to fade.
Mirror imperfect is perfect casually.
Nothing is right when belief we let them raid.

One in a mask, another is mystery,
Art is imperfect therapy for today.
I show them how disgust can smirk so nicely.

Pay pity party enough, she’ll look away
Art is perfect therapy to go astray.
