Build Anyway

Step by step, the sand bricks are laid,
Bringing life to the object drawn,
Though rain might be a threat to growth,
The layers continue to lay,
Build it anyway.

An abstract way to denote trust,
It takes a while but it’s worth it,
Thought trust might be broken again,
Isolation is still no good,
We trust anyway.

Though they’ll speak no good about us,
We’ve learnt all man shall bear his cross,
So we keep doing the good we do,
Remembering death doesn’t spare,
Do it anyway.
