If I were my mother.

A mother, if I were, I’d be bad one
I would gather the maids to mop the floor,
Wash the plates, launder clothes and cook the food

A mother, if I were, I’d not be good
In the day I’d gossip, at night I’d snore
I’d sleep until the rising of the sun

A mother, if I were I’d spoil my son
Teach him, to elders should he ignore
Give suck to him, even after childhood

A mother, if I were, I’d not be trued
I would tell lies, and live the life of a whore
I’ll not visit kitchen wearing apron.

I will not carry a crying baby
I would stare and weep too with him, maybe.
