With an unknown demography.
Their comments sound like a siren
Loud hallelujahs from the pew.

Some of them ghosts, others strangers.
Followers are just statistics,
There are few you know in real life
But on the gram they are just ‘likes’.

We follow the ones with filters
Whose essence we don’t recognize.
Followers are just statistics,
Cheering for blood amidst the crowd.

We post pieces of our lives
Bare out fragments of our minds.
The imagery comes off surreal,
