Imagine This

I imagine me meeting me,
Seeing me inside someone else,
Judging me like I judge others,
How perfect would that be? I ask.

Like a moon sees itself all night,
I imagine me meeting me,
Not in a mirror that reflects,
But in another me; I wish.

Like an Eagle healing her wound;
And later soaring high with pride,
I imagine me meeting me,
To see how hard I claim to try.

I want to see me fall in love,
to see me give out my own heart,
to see how right I’m mostly wrong,
I imagine me meeting me.
