You are not in my djinni’s jar
Are you stuck in that lonely past
Where time stands still while hearts race fast?

The horizons is perpetually far
Chasing it is chasing the ghost in your dream
Where the gown runs without a seam

The stream cannot outrun toads
Not even with the river bank’s goads
Are you the space left by a fallen star?
Are you that healed heart with a stained scar?
Even the moon disappears only for a while
Yet this search has stretched for too many a mile
