My best friend got caught up with life.
This had very little to do with time.
For many of us, to our wounds he was lime.

His father had given him the lamb and the knife
And further went ahead to bless him with a heart of stones.
Shame proudly filled his closet with bones.

You remind me of him, my dear,
And so does your ways which are not clear.

As the calendar has defined every date,
You too must find a way to define your fate.

Life or death you will have to choose someday
But do me a favour; please do not die today.
