Do Not Die Today

Same thing I said to her.
“Spread your wings and you can fly,
Float, fly, sail but do not die.
The afterlife is land wide and far.
Poetry is not read nor written in the grave.
Take time to live and do the things for which you crave.”

Open thou those eyes with the colors of the sea.
The raving orchestra and the moving circus are for you to see.
Count in times while we count on you.
There’s deeper to what you think is true.
Every day, to take your life the grim reaper may try,
But today, lovely eyes are not a day to die.
