Tragedy Has A Happy Ending

Grief should never be repeated.
Dying is up to no good.
The temper lost is the one we lose.
A sad ending may be refused,
but a happy beginning is the worse of the two.
Let the end begin again.

But if grief happens again,
and the funeral is repeated,
maybe we were meant to suffer the two;
to settle for the higher good.
An act of God cannot be refused,
even if we have to lose.

Tragedy is why we lose,
because grief would happen again.
Loss shows up when a win is refused,
and the happy cycle is never repeated.
This paradox would have been good
if nothing was placed between the two.
