The Price of Freedom

No sin they say would go unpunished.
I have seen what men do to fellow men,
One after the other, names they tarnished.

Sin has held us captives, said their pen.
Somethings can save us if we can believe,
Like the Commandments numbered one to ten.

We shall be purged then we can truly live.
First from the past then from the future,
Then maybe your being may find relief.

Some chains do not only bind but fracture
Our bones, our souls, all of us at random.
But this i know is no plan of nature.

Nothing can toss us the price of freedom.
Nothing but our minds can give us this kingdom.
