The People We Love
For the people we love from our heart core
The ones that stand for us, behind our back
Beating waters, clearing waves like an oar.
Sometimes we doubt, and our feelings, they slack
Sometimes, the sun visits, and our hearts melts
Sometimes it gets noisy, and like ducks, we quack
Our actions we carve like swords made by celts;
Piercing through hot air balloons flying rumors,
Knocking down every weight for love not belts
Some of them feed on us like consumers
Less concerned if we still have goods in store
Laying their weights like they have brain tumors.
Sometimes loving a person seems like war
Keep pushing like you’re digging for ore.
