Poetry: The Book Stuck In My Imagination

There was Kaloosh
And there was Josh.
Poles standing on two extremes
Pitched on opposites sides of the shores of the same dilemma
Each sailing a chosen boat and course
But aiming the same destination.

Kaloosh found solace in the belly of the bottle of beer
Josh found his in boycotting the elite circle
Politics and governance had become a chaotic noise
Thus the need for a get-away plan

Then came Kate
Behind her, her Tender Poets Club
Seeking new fronts away from the norm
Kaloosh and Josh found their confluence in Kate
Both abandoning their rugby boats
Joining Kate’s ship opened doors to a new course

Synergised, the trend was threatened
Together the turbine of change started turning
Till deaf ears started hearing
Till the road to new fronts became clear.
