Poetry: Government In The Mouth
The walls know too well to move up-
Then they drop their guards and sit down.
The teeth would gate-keep, and then sup,
Until the morsels get to drown
The walls know too well to move up
The tongue, her roof, her bed, her crown,
Meet roundtable around a cup
For a holiday out of town.
