Poetry: Retribution
To the earth, we must pay a debt
For living, serving and dying.
A devotion mandating yet
To the day i and forgiveness met
A restitution untying
To the earth, we must pay a debt.
Sowing is to reaping in sweat
Water used in place of crying
A devotion mandating yet
Good work and kindness we will get,
A promise so undenying.
To the earth, we must pay a debt.
Penance is a way we regret
The why to why we are sighing
A devotion mandating yet.
Retribution,our holy threat,
Is our wisdom reapplying.
To the earth, we must pay a debt
A devotion mandating yet.

===================================
There are steps to making the dough
First, one must work well on the knead
A bad paste will only taste low
There are a million things to know
On how to satisfy a need
There are steps to making the dough
Cause and effect on same tree grow
Tis for now that the future bleeds
A bad paste will only taste low
Tis the stance on which karma flows
The law of nature does take lead
There are steps to making the dough
Yes the final fry might come slow
A crooked path serves to make one plead
A bad paste will only taste low
One must pay for that which one owes
The creed; plant a seed, reap the seed
There are steps to making the dough
A bad paste will only taste low
