The Burning Water

Ears have heard
That the bush does burn
Even worse
The grass remains green

Strange phenomenon though
When fire burns on water
But when a national disaster occurs
Like a petrol tanker chooses a river
To take a well needed bath
The tale of the burning water begins

I tried it
Right here in my kitchen
Set up some sort of fire
Poured water on it

But that was water burning on fire
Not fire burning on water
Miracles are not everyday events
But life should be full of Sparks
Enduring not the unnecessary
Life on the brighter scale

To Sango ba npa araba, tio nfagi iroko ya, bi to igi nla ko .
