These poems

I never dream of withering
in person and my poems
I want a key as a name
to open doors & kindness
to live longer than my face
to remain here in my place
like the prophets in the books
that I don’t know how they look
but I’ve read notes from Paul
the commandments of Moses
from Makkah to Madina,
these poems are my gift to God
as reciprocation for giving life
I’m writing for others to come
to serve as a light to their shell
to help their wands with a spell.
