No one asked me

sometimes the end of sweet
is sour and sweet can be the
end of another sour story somewhere – there’s no manual
to how the scroll unfolds
or how the sun sets and rises.
man cannot be everything
no matter how hard he tries
to pay attention, he cannot
hear everything, hence, coconut head.
there’s only one truth and it
is the one that keeps you up
at night – the one that tells you
the world is lying and you’re not
but you doubt your truth,
so you cannot tell who is telling a lie.
