To Vee and Young

knock doors
don’t break them down with fire,
hold walls
they protect from cold.
the world; though a garden,
makes roses with thorn stalks.
knock doors
let people answer,
a friend is a stranger
that kept coming back.

break grounds
but look out for earthquakes.
surf the oceans
but it’s a tsunami holder.
while becoming a tree do not forget
the wind can take your leaves to places
where fire often visits.
break skies
become rain,
it’s up to what you want to be.
