We win sometimes

none of these poems is true
about the cost of a loss.
and at the gambling table
losers are free to walk
back and try their next hand.
winners amidst wins fear to
lose sense and worth in
the delusion in between plenty
so, the win is in the loser’s hand
dealt again and again and again.
