Why do the stars look very different today?

what remained here after you left
were crumbs of happy rainbows
I’m thankful for the winds sipped
the touches beneath the silhouette
with lies as accolades for trust
the way you laid your eyes on mine
watching eight lines form a star
the snow that landed on my roof
was to be a call to smiles and food
and with sleep, I enjoyed the feud
and now that you are gone, I know
I know that you are the best to come
to come and be better than the guests
I know that water is a mirror that sees
the drowning but is too cold to narrate.
