Play me a memory

Yesterday

I looked for you in the rays of the sun
Instead of revealing your person
You poured a blinding memory
Into the windows of my heart
Of the countless pebbles
You threw at my windows at night
Windows
Of deceit and little talks
Of raised and down trodden hopes
Of a future that lives in the rays of the sun
Where my eyes cannot look.
But the rain fell, giving me a new season,
Another sun has come
A softer ray of the sun
