To when you remember

of all the options that I weighed
feelings felt and stillness heard
it occurs I must have deferred
chose blindness to what was displayed

for my time, I still feel betrayed
why must the line always be crossed?
faith is a coin not to be tossed
the last was the start of the past
to those sent, we have to recast
before a win, we must have lost.
