The more you deny

naiad, butterfly and beauty
wonder what they’d be without wings
colours in the palace of kings
that strip a knight of its duty

rage unaware of its beauty
this poem is a denial
a found carrier, a vial
a mask to defend what’s under
this poem has become a wonder
a firm admittance, a trial
