The more you deny

you may choose to not remember
but we saw you, and we heard you
all the things you said are not true
for sure, you were once a member.

you may choose to kill the ember
but the coal and the ash live on
the hearts you scarred, battles you won
left in a despicable state
denial has nothing on the fate
every action has a rerun.
