one, two, random

Just friends

We only showered when the moon was out
When the pitch in darkness could hold no light
Two that never agreed but walked together
Music the string that held us
Like two miscreants we had our mouths full
With food, sometimes lyrics
And the vile words we gracefully dished each other
From mischief to puzzling questions
Like why were we always at each other’s heels?
Gutting at our jugulars
Denying each other ‘godly’ advice
Why did we climb those trees and walk barefoot?
Always laughing like two idiots
Why did we grow, but still remain kids?
When we were only just making memories
