life is not so long that one
should quickly get tired of living everyday with vigor
so i put myself in a
lipstick bottle so I can
be on every woman’s lip
be there when she cries, and laughs
be there when she tells a lie
or kiss a brother she wasn’t
supposed to do a thing with.
