Man’s wish

father’s wishes are barbed wires
holding the mouths of children

those with excess tongues
and words that are frail as clouds.

he prays for the bottlenecks
not to be caressed by their hands,

for their livid grounds
to find druthers skies.

he says he wants me to hold
his rainbow away from men.
