Describing love

Thinking of everything and nothing
And in that vague emptiness
You rear your head like the cedars of Lebanon
How can you not be seen?
What outrageous colour you wear
What outlandish style you possess
Why now?
What’s the occasion?
It must be a date
Or the date
Maybe I’m just out of this
But I see you, screaming in two colours
I hear you
Each time I do the sound scrapes a piece of my heart
Can you not see it?
That I’m in pain
Inch away from me
Until I no longer wince or reek blood
I once thought we were related
When we cannot even relate
I’ve run out of soap to wash this awkward moment
The ones you bring in me
I hope we can be in a room without it spinning
I hope we stand face to face
Stare off and not feel dizzy
I hope…
