in two and three dimensions,
with my skin tone as the ink,
and tongue as an eraser,
using dots to form a line,
using lines to form edges,
using edges to form shapes,
I’ll draw my lover’s portrait,
one with an eye that is mine,
for I’m made in God’s image,
so I’ll pray to me – a god.
