a poem in six ways

skin: how words take off their clothes to
allow us use them as they are.

being: we. until we all be.come
waste.lands of emotive actions.

thing: dark. blackness. and anti light.
everything blurs. and alters sight.

wine: just. a different kind of blood
we transfuse without prescription.

oath: we are pulled to our graves by
our submissions to a promise.

fear: always here. and all ways there
I write this in fear, I’m afraid.
