trim my excesses.
weed out unwanted
parts of me.
tend and open my
vegetation to sunlight,
to rain. to seeds.
to loss. to feeds.
to dung. and all. kinds.
of animal. and plant.
behaviour. if.
i must.

in this prayer, i
do not wish you well. so.
i call back my voices
and strangle them
before they get to the sky.
all those injurious prayers. i pray.
because
i have been injured.
for all the whiffy. malodorous
motive.
before. we are forgiven in this.
