A day i remember

He woke up like a rose looking to blossom to the world as the sun touches its petals. Strong and with a smile throwing his hands to the other side of the bed only to realize no one laid there. He threw himself up on the bed and shouted ‘Lola’ and there was no answer. He called again and no one answered.

He left the bed and walked his warm feet over the cold tiles to the kitchen and checked but she wasn’t there. He walked to the living room and called out, she still wasn’t there. He came back to the bedroom and asked himself ‘am I dreaming? Am I Saga? Is this real? Am I in a reality show?’

He then woke up from his sleep, he was sweating profusely, he took a deep sigh and stretched his hands to the other side of the bed and felt her. He then whispered ‘it was a dream in a dream’.
