Nothing to Conquer

I came, I saw
But there was nothing to conquer.
I flew
Beyond the sky is a cloud
There was nothing far above
I climbed to the mountain peak
But there no was space enough to hold my feet
The dream I pursued is a ghost
I couldn’t get a hold
When I gave up the ghost
I didn’t die a second time.
Again, I would not fall
If I do not try to rise
Beyond my mark
Chasing shadows to be called a winner
