This is a population

let us put corruption aside,
put incompetency,
terrorism, and insecurities aside
do we have enough
to feed the nine children
my grandmother had for my grandfather
including the six she had
before they became a couple
babies are a blessing
but why put a burden on your head
why not put in your mouth
what your mouth can chew at once
real enjoyment
is derived from spoonful
and not from mouthfuls.
