On belief

from the teachings of the books that I learnt, read
the gospel is to remind not to dictate
not to hate, wage war or cause others to bleed

don’t use tongues to take a life you can’t create?
shouldn’t you be taking from your life for your death
while you wait in faith for what will be your fate?

man is not even assured of the next breath
of all creations, man is the one in debt
and a man lives preparing for his last breath

inside a man’s faint heart is a silhouette
his ways are dark yet he judges another
in chains, yet conscience does not seem to fret

to practice faith is not to condemn, rather
it’s empathy, tolerance for each other
